Have a lot of wedding guests are coming in from out of town? Planning a wedding weekend, especially in Napa Valley, can be the perfect answer. Jenni and Nick got married at Triple S Ranch in Calistoga so the party could last all weekend long. Hosting this type of wedding weekend allowed them plenty of time to visit with their guests while sampling local wines and enjoying the breathtaking views.
Set in the heart of California’s premier wine country Napa Valley, Triple S Ranch has sweeping views and historic architecture on its 20-acre private estate. Jenni got ready in the Victorian house, and Nick in the cabins. They exchanged their vows under the canopy of an enormous 200 year old walnut tree.
I managed to sneak away with the couple to take photos during the most incredible golden sunset. I can’t stress enough how important it is to carve out plenty of time to take these photos and to take in the first few moments of married life together. You won’t regret spending this time together, and will love the resulting images.
The party got under way with cocktails and dinner on the patio and progressed into the antique barn for dancing. Golden Bell Music kept the party going with their high energy entertainment that combines both a DJ and live musicians. Everyone danced the night away knowing their cabins were only a short walk away at the end of the night. It was a great wedding weekend getaway!
