Convict Lake Wedding | Mammoth Lakes Wedding Photography

Jenn and Jon are avid snowboarders and mountain climbers who spend lot of time in Mammoth Lakes. So it seemed fitting to have a Convict Lake wedding and share their love of Mammoth with their family and friends. They rented a few cabins at Convict Lake Resort and made a long weekend of it.

They exchanged their vows in the Aspen Grove, then we headed down to the lake for photos. The resort offers shuttle service for the bride, groom and bridal party to quickly get around the property for photos, so they can get back to the party.

During the reception, we managed to sneak out for a few more photos of the couple at sunset to capture golden hour and some spectacular mountain views from the valley floor. Guests danced all night then made their way back to their cabins to gear up for a day of skiing and snowboarding at Mammoth Mountain or just relaxing in town. There is so much to do in Mammoth, making it the perfect spot for a mountain wedding weekend!
